Our clients are predominantly early stage founders with an idea. We help them convert their idea into a functioning MVP.
Most of our team is based in New Zealand with exception of few contractors in Philippines.
Job Description
This is a remote role so the ability to work independently is a must. We will provide you with UserFlow, User Stories and mobile or web app designs/screens in Figma or invision or a clickable prototype in Adobe invision for the MVP and you will be required to build a functioning backend of the MVP.
If you enjoy lots of variety, this is the right position for you.
Rather than working on one project for several months, you’ll be working on new products every month.
Since we work with early stage founders, entrepreneurs and startups we are not building polished and feature rich products that take months and years. Speed is of the essence for this role.
Required skills:Ideal skills/experience:
- Building MEVN stack web applications i.e. MongoDB, Express, Vue and Node.js
- Building MERN stack web applications i.e. MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js
- Building mobile apps using React Native
- Building mobile apps using the Ionic Framework
- Git version control (Github/Bitbucket)
- App/website deployment on AWS or GCP
- App/website deployment on Heroku
- Use of Figma/Sketch/InVision
- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS
- Familarity with CSS methodologies (BEM, OOCSS)
- A love for clean code
